DROSERA OBLAAT. is a unit formed by ex-Chaos System members 狂華 (Kyouka) and 魔琴 (Makoto). Formed in May 2011, they disbanded in December the same year. They shortly reunited in 2014 for a digital release.
Biography[]
Vocalist Kyoka announced the band start of activities at a one-day revival concert of his previous band Aliene Ma'riage on May 20th, 2011. The official homepage was launched in late June and their first single THE INVASION was distributed for free at the visual-kei specialist CD stores Like an Edison, Brand-X and Jishuban Club. Only 100 copies per store (for a total of 300 copies) were made available. The band first live was the self-sponsored event L∞P THE INVASION at Shibuya CHELSEA HOTEL on August 19th. After few months it was announced that DROSERA OBLAAT. would disband after a concert at Ikebukuro CYBER on December 17th, 2011. Shortly after DROSERA OBLAAT. disbanded, Makoto started a new band called Gekijo to Jiyu. Kyoka shortly paused his musical activities and started session bands in late 2012. On July 2nd 2014 both members uploaded a new rerecorded version of their previous single THE INVASION on their personal blogs.
